Every year since 2012, the Fraser Coast Business and Tourism Awards have celebrated the successes of extraordinary regional businesses that have contributed in some way to the tourism industry. With such an abundance of successful tourism-based enterprises in the region, competition is keen. This ensures that the final winners in each category are truly exceptional.
Aside from significant media coverage, winners receive trophies or certificates which they can display with pride at their business places. Those who enter but do not win can also benefit from networking opportunities with some of Fraser Coast’s top tier businesses.
How to Participate
There are 26 categories with each business being allowed nomination in up to two of them. Entrants for the highest categories (Best Fraser Coast Business, Chamber Presidents’ Award, John Craig-Gardiner Memorial Award and the Hall of Fame inductee) are pulled from all nominations so there is no need for a separate nomination. Simply fill in and send the online submission form at https://businessandtourismawards.com.au by the deadline along with all accompanying documents and await your review. As an entrant, be prepared to fulfil certain media obligations.
How the Awards are Judged
Your entry will be judged by the panel based on your submission along with your TripAdvisor rating if you applied to a Tourism Category. If your submission is more suited to a different category, the judges may decide to reassign it. Judges deliberate carefully and their decision is final. Be sure to submit your entry by the deadline to ensure that it is considered (or you may have to try again the following year).
How to Attend
Visit https://businessandtourismawards.com.au/tickets/ to purchase tickets and secure seats for your business’ representatives at the event. The ceremony is usually well attended so be sure to signal your interest well before the actual date to ensure that tickets are still available when you need them.
Past winners will attest that the Awards ceremony itself offers a true chance to have your hard work recognised by your peers and judged by qualified business leaders. If you have a business in the Fraser Coast region that you feel proud of, consider how much a nomination could do for your reputation and visit https://businessandtourismawards.com.au to learn more.
